Shikari is a 2016 Bangladesh-India joint production. The film is co-directed by Zakir Hossain Simanta and Joydeep Mukherjee. Co-produced by Abdul Aziz and Himanshu Dhanukar under the banner of Jazz Multimedia and SK Movies. The film stars Shakib Khan, Sravanti Chatterjee and Sabyasachi Chakraborty in the lead roles. The film also stars Amit Hasan, Kharaj Mukherjee, Supriya Dutt and Rahul Dev as co-stars. The song album and background score of the film is composed by Indradeep Dasgupta.

Summary of the story :

Skeletons and bones of some missing children were suddenly found at a place in Kolkata. Judge Rudra Chowdhury was then given the responsibility of investigating the case. Rudra Chowdhury is an honest man and trusts the law. He can do everything to establish justice. So the mastermind of the murder was afraid that his gomer might be leaked! So he decided to kill the judge in order to carry out his mission. But the conspiracy could be leaked to any contact killer in India, fearing that the judge was given the responsibility to kill the contract killer Sultan of Bangladesh. The real name of this Sultan is Raghav. Raghu alias Raghab, the disobedient son of the judge's father since childhood. Incidentally, one day he shot his father in the hand and ran away from home. Now his killing mission begins by killing his friend's mother! He fled from there and later to Bangladesh. Became Sultan. The Sultan makes himself irresistible. There is no one like him in target killing. But when he goes to shoot the judge, he discovers that it is his own father! Then the story turned! To save his father, the Sultan took refuge as a cook in the judge's house in a fancy way. People continue to miss one target after another. Meanwhile, Raghu's childhood identity gradually came out. The Sultan was the first to catch the heroine. Raghab, who is very hated by his father, cannot reveal his true identity to his father. The love of the hero and heroine continues and the depth of the story grows.

Construction

The shooting list of the film Shikari started on March 16, 2015. The first episode was shot in Kolkata for 12 days. The second episode was shot in London. And the last episode of the film was filmed in Dhaka for 28 days. The complete picture was captured in 48 days. The filming was suspended for two days due to a strike by construction workers in Calcutta.
